Training the Future of Emergency Medicine

The Emergency Medicine Residency at the University of Iowa Health Care is an ACGME-accredited program that offers a uniquely comprehensive, challenging, and individual experience in a collaborative and empowering environment. Our program continues to excel in training future leaders thanks to our over 20 years of experience.

Our clinical training includes our own pediatric ED, many fellowship offerings, robust critical care education, 4 months of elective time to tailor your education, AirCare flight medicine, and dynamic faculty.
