Yesterday, Dr. Priyanka Vakkalanka joined our colleagues from the University of Iowa Injury Prevention Research Center and the Injury Control Research Centers (ICRCs) across the country for a Congressional Briefing in Washington, D.C., on the importance of mental health and injury prevention research. Dr. Vakkalanka presented her work in Iowa - "Unlocking mental health access in rural communities."
